Margate Mercury Social Media Manager
We are looking for a social media whizz to manage the Instagram, Facebook and X / Bluesky accounts for the Margate Mercury magazine. This is a part time, remote role, approx. two to three hours per week.
The role requires:
- Two to three posts done per week on Instagram (which links automatically to FB, or you can post on the platforms separately if you prefer). Posts can be scheduled on a scheduling platform like Later.com, or via Meta. We are currently building up a Bluesky account in order to close our X profile, so some posts need to be shared there too.
- Checking the inbox for email, FB and Instagram and forwarding / replying to messages.
- Working with the Margate Mercury editor to schedule magazine-related posts such as cover reveals, launch dates, stockists and so on.
- Communicating with our other Social Media Managers via the Brightside Socials WhatsApp group.
Pay is £150 per month.
